When I change my Display Picture via Account properties / User Info / Display Picture, then it gets updated, and the other partners are seeing it, but *only* if I (1) uncheck the "Export a display picture" checkbox, (2) click OK so my picture gets disabled, (3) get back to User Info / Display Picture, (4) check the "Export a display picture" checkbox, (5) and select a new picture. This way kopete changes the display picture, otherwise (if I don't disable the picture first) it gets stuck on the original display picture, although the changed picture is shown in the User info tab.

It seems to me that this is not the case anymore, I'm now using the latest svn from svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/work/kopete/dev-0.12/kopete. The display pictures changes, and my partners sees my new pic, but I do not see it in the chat window. I have to restart kopete to see my new picture in the chat window, and it doesn't matter which style I am using.
