Sentry Crash Report:

Description Baldrun Orv 2006-01-05 12:15:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

distribution: Kubuntu 5.10 Breezy Badger
kde version: 3.4.3
kontact version: 1.1.2
kmail version: 1.8.3

Problem:
--------

After having chosen to manually mark spammails in the "Assistent for SPAM-Filter" dialogue, kontact crashed on the next and following startup attempts (signal 11 SIGSEGV). I was still able to start kmail directly though.

I only got kontact to start again after deleting all filters in /.kde/share/config/kmailrc

I was able to reproduce the crash chosing only Spamassassin or Bogofilter alone or both together. Kontact would only crash if the option to mark spammails manually was marked.

Comment 1 Arne Babenhauserheide 2006-02-10 10:45:03 UTC
I can confirm this bug, and also the solution to open kmail directly (thanks!).

System: KDE-testing, Gentoo, PowerPC (iMac 1,25Ghz), kmail 3.4.3 (complete KDE-package, kmail 3.5.1 is not yet in Portage).

I once put the icons for marking spammails into the toolbar manually. That was, when the problems began.
