Hi,

I regularly write e-mails on kmail without an Internet connection at hand. So, it often takes hours or even days before e-mails in my 'unsent' folder are actually sent out. So far, there seems to be no way of telling when an outgoing message was actually sent. But it this very information that is sometimes quite important to me to know for various reasons.

Therefore, I would like to suggest an optional sent-mail long that can be enabled in the preferences section. Perhaps, the actual delivery time could be added to the headed before the mail is archived in the 'sent' folder?

I'm merging this with bug 53598 if you don't mind.
