Description Hauke Laging 2006-01-03 22:11:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I experience a strange effect when using the search function on my IMAP folders. If I search in a folder different from the open one and click on the results then a wrong message is opened. If I click again the correct message is opened. It seems that the wrong message is mostly a former search result (or the one on top).

This does not happen if I search in the currently open folder.

I can confirm this behaviour. It has been going on for a long time. I also use an IMAP account. I am pretty sure that the IMAP server I am connecting to is Cyrus IMAPD 2.2.12 or newer.

KMail 1.9.9
KDE 3.5.9
Debian Unstable

Is this still a problem in a maintained version of kmail (kde 4.3 i.e.)?

Sorry, I couldn't say. I switched to XFCE and Thunderbird a long time ago.
