Description Stephen Leaf 2005-12-27 02:21:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)

I like to organize all my to-dos
I generally don't use the categories

Chores
---Clean room

for example, so I do a lot of creating sub to-dos.
I do it like this because when I do have a lot I can easily just colapse a category I don't care about at the moment.
I find doing it this way is a lot easier than setting up various categories and filters.

However because I create a lot of sub to-dos I'm always having to create a new to-do, hunting it down, and finally moving it where I want it.
It would be so much faster and more convenient for me if I could just hit ctrl+enter or shift+enter or something and have it be created as a sub to-do of the one that's currently selected.

You can use Settings » Configure Keyboard Shortcuts... to add a key to the "New Sub-to-do" action. Is that sufficient to satisfy this wish?

I agree. This solves the problem. Closing the issue.
