when i remove a contact, and then I login with a normal msn client, the user is still on the list, then when i return to kopete, thje user is re added

when i move an user, the user is really copied, because happpends the same thing, but the user apears duplicated

i have this problem from the first relase of kopete
and i have used ubuntu kubuntu slackware debian and many other, and the problem keeps

i love kopete, but with this bug i have to keep usin gaim, because i move my contacts from one group to other a lot, and when i log in a normal msn client i have a lot of ducplicacions

other problem is the factthat if i remove the contact list file on .kde, the contact list is not regenerated, so i think its a problem with the contact list synchronization

Same problems here. As far as I remember, kopete has always behaved like this.

If I want to delete a contact, I have to delete it using an other msn client, then remove my contactlist.xml (to avoid kopete from adding the contact again) and then starting again kopete.

There's some contacts I never managed to get deleted because I use kopete on so many computers that I forget at least on one of them to delete the contactlist.xml.

I've never added this to bugzilla because I though it was so an obvious bug that it would have been fixed very quickly (I know I should have posted that bug anyway :) ).

I, too, have experienced this problem, it is such an endless mess trying to delete one user, delete in msn, kopete readds it, and then log into msn and its back again!

I hope this problem gets resolved soon, I'm serisouly considering another client.
