I confirm that the same happens with me. I use Kubuntu 5.10 and have kamil binaries installed from their repositories. The same here. KDE 3.5. A temporary solution is edit the file "$HOME/.kde/share/config/kmailrc" and set quote symbol as you want. Only must find the following text: indent-prefix= and set it to defaults: indent-prefix=>%_ This seems to be fixed on r526667. Kishore, can you try with KDE 3.5.2 and see if it works for you too?
