Version:           1.8.3 (using KDE 3.4.3 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.10-default

When you select "empty trash" from the "Folder" menu or after right mouse clicking the trash folder and selecting "empty trash".  The trash can emptyies successfully, yet the message bar display's "Messages deleted failed".  Only when the trash can is empty does the "messages deleted successfully" appear.

Don't see this problem with KDE 4.3.1
