  - When a sheet is protected, the user may not:

  - Could "the user" be changed to "you"?

  Personal note:
I don't like reading manuals that explain what "the user" can or cannot do.
I prefer manuals that talk directly to me.

  - Whaaaa! Did you _try_ that?
Even when you select entire rows or columns,
  it takes a looong time...
There should be an easier way, like a menu item:
  Edit - Select All
In OOo calc you can also click in the upper left corner
to select all cells at once.
I haven't been able to find such a feature in KSpread...

To select non-adjacent cells... this does not work.
Is this a new 1.5 feature?

advanced.docbook:614

  - Protected cells in a protected sheet cannot be edited
without unprotecting the whole sheet, and other sheet

  - Somehow the "and other ..." seems illogical to me.
Maybe: sheet. All other sheet changes are disbled as well. ?

  - It seems useless to select the selected cells...

;-) yes i tried! There is no other way, a Select All button should be implemented but there are painting issues that makes it impossible. I press hard to get this fixed and have this feature in!

To select non-adjacent cells... this does not work.

yes, you are right it does not (it works on oocalc and I did not check thoroughly in KSpread). I'll change the wording.
