Description S. Umar 2005-12-13 18:33:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
Compiler: gcc-4.0.2
OS: Linux

When I select "allow easy closing" from the window decorations in
control-center all windows close when clikcing on the right-most
close window button except konsole. No matter what I do I get a
message window/sound telling me that:

"The application running in Konsole does not respond to the close
request. Do you want Konsole to close anyway?"

This was not the problem in earlier versions.

Additional info: If you choose "cancel" to not to close the window after
the above question the next shell command crashes konsole.

This behavior turns out to be result of bash using the sighandler patch under
Fedora FC5 development tree. It has been reported as a bug under bash there.
Closing.
