The two vumetergl windows, thhe left one is running under xmms, the right one under amarok. both playing the same stereo test file i created for this test. the right one shows wrong values, looks like amarok is feeding libvisual the wrong data. 

Maybe this need to be fixed?

My vumetergl plugin is kinda dull, if it shows the exact same value in both right and left chan.

This is a dupe of 118765 which i've submitted months ago...

I have a feeling no one on the amaroK team wants to touch this because it would mean fairly big changes to the whole visualisation system. I tried to have a go at it myself, but I was way over my head--especially as far as fixing this without breaking existing amaroK visualisations :(

Actually it looks like you submitted the bug report before I did, so technically mine is the dupe. However mine has been confirmed by the team (moved to NEW status) so lets stick with that one?
