Is konqueror developement stalled or wehat´s going on? I´ve submitted several bug reports for it and no one ever replies! Or are you just too busy developing? *g konqi has about 2000 open bugs and only a couple of active developers. We don't have enought man power to fix all PRs. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 98344 *** OK, then this is not a problem :) I really appreciate your work on konqueror. I don´t think this is really a bug but an architectural thing. All KDE apps do this so konqueror shouldn´t do its own thing here. PLEASE FIX THIS FOR KDE4!!!!!!! KDE is so awesome so you really can´t have this usability issues in core components of it. Please stop implementing new features and fix those issues first. Michael: developers will code whatever they want to code. You cannot give them orders. If you feel this is an important issue, do something about it (preferrably with code) Sorry, this wasn´t meant to sound rude, but imho most developers don´t really care about usability. And this is very sad, since it affects whether "regular" users chosse linux/kde or windows. And KDE4 has the opportunity to make people switch to linux imho. I´ve submitted several bug reports for things which are really easy to fix but affect usability a lot. And nobody cares. I would of course provide code if I knew KDE well enough, unfortunately this will take some time (I`m learning QT atm). And this "if you want it to be fixed then fix it yourself" attitude, do you really think a project can be successful if the developers only fix issues which they experience? What is this bugtracker here good for then? |
