Description w.posche 2005-11-28 19:26:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When an application is set to be visible on all virtual desktops and I click on it to get the focus (e.g. to write a Kopete message), then this application gets the focus on all virtual desktops. But I normally have main applications running on the other virtual desktops, so that it's always an extra click to get them into the main focus again. When changing a lot between virtual desktops while chatting, this can be pretty annoying over time. It would be best, if the applications would only get the focus on the current virtual desktop!

PS: I normally set my chat windows (Kopete) to be shown on all virtual desktops, so that I always realize when people are writing. So setting it to one desktop only wouldn't be a workaround for me.
