Version:           2.5.0 (using KDE 3.5.0 Level "a" , SUSE 9.3 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.11.4-21.9-default

The same Bug 113445:

1) Open text file (utf8)  of 22051 lines and 4,3Mb. 
2) I look for a word and the cursor is positioned in line 15127 
3) I select from line 15127 to the end (line 22051). 
4) I press the key to erase and crah 
 
I have updated to kde 3,5 but bug 113445 remains

I have updated to kde 3.5.3 but the bug  remains
