Version:           3.4 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.9-default

I set up calendar with 5 working day view. If I go to the little month calendar up top and select a day in the next week for example, I would like to see the 5 working days dispalyed as I had set up. Every time I need to put in another entry in another week and return to present time I have to set up my 5 day view again

I think this is working.

you need to click on the week number in the navigator, not click on a day.
if you click on day then you automatically are moved into the Agenda-day view.

also you need to have the Views->General->Date Navigator settings selected:
 "Show week numbers"
  "Week numbers select a work week when in work mode"

if there's a case that I didn't test and still fails, feel free to reopen
