When one uses the "Listening-to" plug-in to display what amarok plays and amarok hangs, kopete hangs too.

this would be a DCOP communication deadlock problem or similar and i'm nto sure we'll be able to fix this easily, if at all.

I can confirm the bug.

Should be fixable by moving the communication process out of the Kopete UI thread, no?

Please update to newer version as we don't have manpower to support Kopete in KDE 3

The problem has always been with a "newer" version (i.e. everything current for a 3 year stretch).

I don't know if the problem still exists in 4.4:  Amarok is much more stable, and I don't really use Kopete very often anymore.
