Version:           1.1.3 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

When you add the bash.org newsfeed (http://bash.org/xml/), line breaks for the
first line are not show correctly. The first line and second line appear on the
same line. All line breaks thereafter are shown correctly. See the screenshot
for an example. 

I looked at the feed source and everything seems to be correct in there.
