there have been improvements to
http://home.cfl.rr.com/genecash/digital_camera.html 's 
version in 2003 and 2004.

The diff is not straightforward, as the KDE version might
be changed at some places.
So it would need some testing.

I wish the KDE version and upstream would be in sync. ;)

Looking at

and

the problem is still there.
(upgrading to more than a wish, because the old version is probably unmaintained,
which I consider a bug.)
