i am kopete user and using it even for irc sometimes, but because i have not just so big screen i have to spare some place, so i am using shading and automatic unshading after the mouse focus, but there are lots of that yellowish popum messages which likely spawn themselfs just under the mouse conslusing to shade the parrent window.
