Hello we are Ioannis Barkas and Nikos Barkas.
In FC4 while plugging a USB device we got this crash.

Please confirm with kde-3.4.2 which is the latest available (atm) in fedora-updates.  If you (still) have kde-3.4.0, you probably have a lot of other updates to install too.

Rex was right. This bug has been fixed for almost 7 months. Please upgrade your KDE.
