Description Vladimir Kanazir 2005-11-03 10:11:55 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from:    Slackware Packages
OS:                Linux

After upgrading from KDE 3.4.2 to 3.4.3 (with upgradepkg), I'm unable to login from the remote workstation.

On the workstation, the screen blinks every 5 seconds and I have to kill its X remotely.

On the server, there are such entries in the syslog:
Nov 3 09:23:08 slack kdm[3669]: Unknown session exit code 0 (sig 11) from manager process
Nov 3 09:23:34 slack last message repeated 15 times

By copying old kdm, from the 3.4.2 version, I was able to login again.

I was not changed any config file.
Xdmcp section in kdmrc looks like this:
[Xdmcp]
Enable=true
Willing=/opt/kde/share/config/kdm/Xwilling
Xaccess=/opt/kde/share/config/kdm/Xaccess

Xaccess has login from any host enabled.
