Version: 0.7.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-5)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-2-k7

Hi. Whenever I export an album as html, digikams adds another extension to the file names of the export result. IMG0123.JPG becomes IMG0123.JPG.jpg and so on, the corresponding web page looks even worse: IMG0123.JPG.jpg.html

I know that there are some apps out there (in the nonfree world) that don't accept more than one dot in a file name - and from a cosmetic point of view, I disregard this way of renaming, too.

My suggestion: ignore origninal extension (if it is a 'valid' format indicator) - or at least, add a corresponding option to the export wizzard.

(BTW: the export wizzard complains if I state a nonexisting folder for destination. It rather should ask if to create that folder, I think).

Thanks folks
Regards
Ralf.

This bug is reported against 'imagesgallery'. This plugin has been replaced by a new plugin called 'HTMLExport', which is written completely from scratch. This bug report will now be closed.
