In the klipper handbook:

For example, to clear the clipboard history 
when the &klipper; menu is open, press <keycombo action=\"simul\">&Alt;<keycap>
L</keycap> </keycombo>.

In kde3.5, there is no accelerator for "clear the clipboard history"

hmm, it works nonetheless! Left click on Klipper then do Alt+L and hop! the history is cleared!
It is not very to me why this shortcut is not associated with the action but I cannot fixe that considering my lack of knowledge of the code!
I close this bug as it not a doc bug doc anymore, maybe you want to reopen a Klipper bug to get the shortcut listed with the action. Hope this is the right thing to do here otherwise I'll buy you a beer when I am back in France to apologize, Ludovic!
