Version:           0.10.3 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS:                Linux

When the connection goes down, my jabber account and all IRC accounts mark themselves offline.

ICQ looks as if it was still ONLINE and it even lets me send messages. The messages are just dropped.


Expected behaviour:
-------------------------------
ICQ should change its status to OFFLINE (disconnected, as it actually is).
(Showing a non-disturbing notification that Kopete lost connection would be very nice.)

Does this work any better with a newer version of Kopete? Testing with one of the 0.11.x releases or the 0.12 betas would be appreciated.

No, same problem with kopete 0.11.1 from KDE 3.5.2

I also have the same problem with the ICQ-Plugin from KDE 3.5.2 - this happens when the network connection is lost for a short time. The Yahoo plugin shows the correct offline-status.

Fixed using Solid for KDE 4.
