Why don't you open a new session for them? Sometimes you don't have enough resources (e.g. memory), or you want someone to do something within your session (e.g. edit a file you've been workin on) and you don't want him to change your music, your desktop's appearance by mistake, etc. I see only two ways: 1) You sit next to your friend and watch what they're doing -> you don't need this. 2) You don't do 1) -> they can run e.g. Konsole and do whatever they want with your account, including editing the config files or killing KWin, thus avoiding this useless protection. I agree with you. I'll think about this a bit more. Thanks! |
