Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux

In AIM/ICQ, selecting an away message soon after connecting produces an "unknown error" and a disconnect.

Please answer the following questions so that I can have more information on how to reproduce your bug

How long do I need to wait for a disconnection to happen after selecting an away message?

How soon after connecting do I need to set myself away?

Disconnection is almost immediate.

Away message.. Um, it was pretty soon after connecting.  I actually haven't used kopete since reporting this bug... It may have been triggered by selecting an away message as it's signing on OR to MAKE it sign on... Possible race condition bug?

I also have this kind of problems with kopete and icq (version 0.10.4, gentoo linux). It happens within the first 30 minutes after connecting. Sometimes it just doesn't say anything but messages aren't delivered (see BUG #115346). Also the status of others in the contactlist isn't updated anymore. This also seems to be related to BUG #108287.

I have not been able to reproduce this. Please try a newer version and reopen this bug if this problem still occurs. Any other information that can be provided when reopening would be helpful
