Sentry Crash Report:

Description Diniz Fernando Bortolotto Ferreira 2005-10-23 01:34:01 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.4.2, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.31

The command line at the keyboard layout panel presents the following line of command:
"setxkbmap -model -layout br -variant abnt2".
The model abnt2 would have to be present also in the -model parameter.

KDE uses ABNT-2 by default for Brazilian Portuguese now, since that's the layout all standard keyboards in the country use.

This issue can be closed.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
