Description Ferdinand Gassauer 2005-10-20 07:43:06 UTC
Version: v0.8.4 (using KDE 3.4.3 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.9-default

Hi!
trying to download multiple files from
ftp://suse.inode.at/projects/OpenOffice.org/9.3-i386/
I usually get a message where kget says, that the files are not available/existing.

this is true for this version and the current svn.

to make it work I have to open kget click on every file (download = stopped) and click resume. then everything works fine.

could it be, that kget hangs if the source file is not available completely?
(i.e. it is currently downloaded by the mirror and not there yet)

btw also wget stops in the middle -near to where kget stalls.

I cannot reproduce this issue with KGet because the file does not exist anymore. Moreover, you say that it does also not really work with wget.
