Does the print preview in other KDE applications work, like in kedit? I do not have kedit, preview works on firefox and open office, will not work on any applications within koffice also would not work for the previous issue 141. regards I'm only interested in kde apps, firefox doesn't matter at all here. Do you have the "kdegraphics" package installed? The kghostview part is necessary for the print preview feature. The default instal for kdegraphics has loaded kdegraphics3 kdegraphics3-fax kdegraphics3-kamera kdegraphics3-pdf kdegraphics3-postscript kdegraphics3-scan -3D, -devel, -tex have not been included KGhostView is installed and I am able to view a .pdf file when i try to open a print preview window the kword only show me a big window with close buttom on the left side of the window, im running SuSE 10 with kword 1.4.1. Sorry for my english , im from argentina. =$ Bye duplicate of bug 123792 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 123792 *** See also comments at bug 123792 (and elsewhere): You need to configure your mime type "application/postscript" for viewing and embedded viewing. Move kghostview to the top of the list. Alternatively, run "kaddprinterwizard --kdeconfig", select "Preview" and insert a n application name that can display PostScript: if you have "gv" use that, or insert "kghostview" there, or "kpdf". |
