Description greatbunzinni 2005-10-16 15:14:11 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When the user launches a second instance of adept, adept doesn't check if there is already an instance running. It only displays a warning claiming that the database is locked.

It would be nice if adept checked if there was an instance running and if there was, that it would bring focus to that instance and exit quietly.

In 1.88, both adept manager and updater are KUniqueApplication(s). This means, trying to run a program while it is running will bring its window to front instead of running a new instance.

Great job, Peter. Kudos for the Adept team.
