When several medias are mounted on the desktop, ejecting one disables the "eject" option on others.

For example : 
- I insert a CD and a USB Key. I am asked what to do with them and choose "Do nothing", so they're all shown on my desktop and work fine. The CD has got the "eject" option and the USB Key has got the "Remove safely" option.
- If I remove the CD choosing "Eject", the CD is ejected and disappears, but the USB Key loses the "Remove safely" option. Same the other way round : removing the USB Key prevents from ejecting the CD later on. 
- If after having removed the USB Key and not being able to eject the CD from the desktop, I eject the CD from a console, the icon of the CD doesn't disappear from the desktop although the CD is not mounted anymore. From then on, no media can be mounted using kdesktop anymore. They all have to be mounted in console.

I have tested it with three medias (2 CD/DVD, 1 USB key) and it's even worse. 
The only way I've found to have it work is to remove one media, kill kdesktop, relaunch kdesktop, remove the second media, kill kdesktop, etc.

Tested and confirmed, for the bug, and the killall + relaunch kdesktop test.

Also, it is important to say that this applies on desktop's icons, bug doesn't bug in media:/ in konqueror.

I'd just like to confirm this behaviour. I've tested it using an MMC card and two USB storage devices. Three icons are created, all of which have the menu entry available. Choosing it from any one device causes the remaining (the operation is performed successfully) desktop icons to lose the menu entry.

As a workaround, I simply unmount the remaining devices from the command-line.

I just tried to reproduce this bug as described above, but everything worked fine for me, so I think it's fixed.
Tested with KDE 3.5.7 with openSUSE 10.3.

If you can still reproduce this problem with a new KDE version, please reopen this bug!

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
