Tested and confirmed, for the bug, and the killall + relaunch kdesktop test. Also, it is important to say that this applies on desktop's icons, bug doesn't bug in media:/ in konqueror. Ok, reassigning then... I'd just like to confirm this behaviour. I've tested it using an MMC card and two USB storage devices. Three icons are created, all of which have the menu entry available. Choosing it from any one device causes the remaining (the operation is performed successfully) desktop icons to lose the menu entry. As a workaround, I simply unmount the remaining devices from the command-line. I just tried to reproduce this bug as described above, but everything worked fine for me, so I think it's fixed. Tested with KDE 3.5.7 with openSUSE 10.3. If you can still reproduce this problem with a new KDE version, please reopen this bug! Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained. |
