Sentry Crash Report:

Description Nir Dremer 2005-10-08 16:32:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.90)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.4.4
OS: Linux

Currently when performing save-as, the filename field is empty.

I believe it should be filled with the current filename name, which is the common behavior (which I'm familiar with).

or it could be the current filename with an automatically incremented suffix, for example :
if you edit IMG_0145.jpg

you get :

IMG_0145_1.jpg

No. I think it must be filled by original name only, but this dialog must have "auto rename" button.

By default many peoples save edited files in another folders. With this case name of the file may be the same.

digiKam image editor and showFoto from trunk svn branch (0.9.0-svn) povides the original file name by default in saveas dialog.

I close this file.
