Version:           1.8.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

How I can reproduce it:

1) open kontact
2) go to kmail
3) click on compose new message
4) in the TO field start typing a nickname.  I start typing "selda" -> a list 
of addresses appears in the drop down box
5) i decide to delete the name by pressing and holding backspace
6) Crash as soon as the cursor had deleted everything

The funny thing is I can only get it to crash with prefixes of "selda" other 
words dont seem to work.  But selda works all the time. NB: selda is not an 
entry in my addressbook.

So crash may not be easily reproducible, however ill be glad to provide more info.
