Version:           Konqueror 3.4.2-1.3.fc3.kde (KDE 3.4.2-1.2.fc3.kde) (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs
OS:                Linux

Windows Bitmap Images in _16bit_ are not displayed. I do remember it worked some time/versions ago.

Do you have a sample image that doesn't work?

BMP images are loaded by Qt. Can you report this to qt-bugs@trolltech.com?

It seems to depend. As far as I understand, kuickshow only uses Qt if Imlib 
cannot load

Another else problematic image

This is a testing image from http://entropymine.com/jason/bmpsuite/. Konqueror
(version 3.5.5 from Ubuntu edgy eft) and Gwenview shows nothing. But Krita,
Gimp or mspaint(!) are OK. And a thumbnail in Konqueror is shown after opening
image in Gimp (after opening in Krita I can see nothing), but not earlier. It's
very strange ...
