Description Christian Schupfner 2005-09-27 11:16:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

As kdeprintfax strips off characters which are not numbers or a +, it is not possible to give the sending program any further information. So it would be good to have a additional parameter %rawnumber which will give the complete number with all characters to the program.

In my special case we need to give a string to a sending program which then will use the string to get the fax numbers out of a list. We now take the parameter %name, but this is a dirty hack...

Ray Lischner is right. I mistakenly marked this as a duplicate. On more profound analysis, problems mentioned by 113421 and 106369 are different in essence.

Confirmed as NEW.

KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived. Closing all open bugs.
