Version:           3.4.2 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-9-default

Sometimes when I shutdown KDE, kicker and the desktop both close, I see a black shreen, but then kicker reappears, loads the tray icons again, and then after some time closes and the shutdown continues. This takes quite some time and I think this shouldn´t be like that IMHO

yes, this would be one of a couple of crash bugs that are already known and to my knowledge already fixed.

I still see this with SuSE 10.1RC1 which uses KDE svn 20050910.
Was it fixed in the 9 days between this date and your commit?
