Version:           1.8.2 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-9-default

Currently I´m able to set a different sort criteria for every folder. But I don´t want this, all folders should be sorted the same. So I´ve to go through every one and set my sort criteria.
So I suggest for the next version that the behaviour could be toggled in the preferences, to enable every folder having the same sort criteria.

This would be very useful, but keep the option for the user to sort particular folders differently.

Works for me in KDE 4.3
