Version:           1.8.1 (using KDE 3.4.1, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.12.5

When we want to delete one message we don't care about the attachments. So downloading them, for delete, it's a waste of bandwith.

Hmm... I tried to reproduce with dIMAP. I cannot delete the the message before it is fully downloaded. So this works for me.
