Would be nice if you could point to the URL of an image and use it as an avatar. It would be downloaded locally each time you login. I would appreciate this as I travel between two Kopete accounts on two distant computers. It would allow me to always have my avatar synced.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
