The icon selection dialog seems to look in /usr/share/pixmaps and other locations.
But it should look in /usr/local/share/pixmaps as well, for self-compiled programs.
Sorry if this should be a wishlist item, but IMHO /usr and /usr/local should be regarded the same.

Any news here? This is IMHO a very small code change.
OK I´m used to report bugs which are there for years, but this on is so small :)

/usr/share/pixmaps is actually added by SUSE patches, KDE itself only looks at /opt/kde3/share/pixmaps. So it's indeed a feature to add /usr*/share/pixmaps
