Having an option to have always visible the tab bar would be nice (when the "group by" is marked). It would be more consistent (at least to me).

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.

I don't even remember when was the last time I used Kopete but thank you for the advice :)
