See also bug #79553 and bug #109259 This would probably need to be coded to only warn once a week, otherwise the notification would get tedious. Probably it would need to do the check when an item is deleted, because if it was on login, some people never/rarely logout/login. *** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** Come on guys, this is basic functionality that every other O/S with a trash can concept has. Implements size limit and 'delete after X days' functionality
The attached patch implements configurable size limits and the 'delete after X days' functionality. It didn't make it into 3.5.10, maybe into 3.5.11.
