It is a known bug that kpilot will crash when changing "Settings-->Configure Kpilot" if net:any is set has the Pilot device.

However "killall -9 kpilotDaemon" will free up kpilot to be configured as normal.  kpilotDaemon will need to be started again after configuration.

I suggest that kpilot stop the kpilotDaemon during configuration.  And that it restart the service after.

I've never programmed.  This seems like it would be a simple fix.
