When you right click a FLAC audio file in Konqueror, select 'properties' and want to edit the 'Meta Info'. The dialog is too small by default and always needs to be resized larger. Other file types seem to have the dialog resized to fit all the metadata in the dialog, for example with JPEG images the dialog is automatically at the appropriate size to fit the metadata. The dialog should default to at least being at the right size to not show scrollbars in the 'Meta Info' section.

I get this behaviour for all file types. However, the meta info tab contents can be much larger than the other tabs, so automatically increasing the dialog size to the size required by the metainfo tab might be overkill.

I tried a Kubuntu 25.04 VM which has KDE Plasma 6.3.4

The modern day equivalent of the 'Meta Info' properties tab that was in KDE 3.4.1 Konqueror appears to now be the 'Details' properties tab that is in both Dolphin and Konqueror.

While it no longer seems to offer any functionality for editing the metadata associated with various files I tried (FLAC, MP3 and JPEG), that is likely a task best left for more specialised tools anyway. For the purpose of viewing metadata associated with files the 'Details' properties tab appeared to be adequate and I did not find it to be too small or needing to be resized larger.

I don't think it is necessary for this bug report to remain open any further.
