Description Christian Lorch 2005-08-27 21:36:49 UTC
Version: 0.4.3.1 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.8-default

Hi,

I'm using SuSE9.3 (german) and crashed personally using kmobiletools :-( After hours of trying i got irda working (from Acer TM800) together with my S55 (in irdadump it is seen correctly).
But kmobiletools can not connect to /dev/ircomm0.
Via scmxx I could read everything from my cellular, gscmxx did fail too.
The auther ot gscmxx told me that scmxx changed its syntax with versions following 0.6.4 so i downgraded frp, 0.7.5 and now both (gscmxx and kmobiletool) are working. kandy is not working. gammu/wammu does work too (but is crashing).
Is kmobiletool in such a way dependant from scmxx?
It would be great if kmobiletool will work soon again :-)

Thanks for connecting notebook and cellular!

Read the FAQ page, check permissions, bind the phone (irattach?) and try with 0.5-beta3 or svn.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been
unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug.
