Description Dik Takken 2005-08-26 12:07:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

Many users have lots and lots of applications in each category of the Kmenu, most of them are not used frequently.

How about keeping track of the most used applications in each category and automatically moving infrequently accessed items to the 'More' submenu? The KMenu will always be clean that way, and you can always find your favourite applications real quick.

The problem of the current 'most used applications' section in the root of the Kmenu is that it can only contain a few applications, otherwise the menu won't fit on the screen. Every time you need to use an application that is not in this very short list, you still need to search the overcrowded Kmenu.

This sounds very much like a duplicate of bug 62265.
