Description Roger Bradley 2005-08-25 13:00:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I have used kmail as my default email client for a while now. I have a number of accounts each with many folders/sub-folders. Why isn't it possible to drag and drop folders? This seems to be a standard feature of every other client I have used on both Linux and Windows.
It is such an obvious and basic useabilty feature that I find it incredible that it is missing from kmail.
This seems to be another of those "little" useability features that get overlooked in a lot of open source software. Yet they become "big" issues on a day to day basis. "Little" things like this are a major reason people still continue to use proprietory software.
It's the "little" things that make a "big" difference.

Why it is not possible to d&d folders? Because it has not been implemented yet.
If that feature is so extremely important for you - feel free to implement it. I already added the possibility to move the folders so d&d should be not that difficult to add.
