Description Marcin Orlowski 2005-08-24 16:57:19 UTC
Version: 1.8.1 (using KDE 3.4.1, Debian Package 4:3.4.1-1 (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Debian 1:3.3.6-5)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.10

When I read an email and want to add the sender to my ABook I press RMB over that entry shown in mail header area. Then it gets added and I face "The email ... has been added the address book; you can add more information to this entry by opening the addressbook" with "Ok" button. What I lack is simply additional "Edit entry" button next to "Ok", which would simply open the addressbook's edit window on that entry - would help a lot. Additionally, since one can have "Do not show this message again" checked, it would be nice to have "Add to address book and edit" item in RMB which would just work the same way

I like this idea. It could be useful even on KDE 4.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.

I filled this bug 7 (seven) years ago and in meantime even windows is useable as desktop os. I am no longer using KDE
