The "search" function in kcontrol->keyboard shortcuts only searches the "action" column.
It should therefore either be labeled "search action" (2 people, including me, have been fooled by it when trying to search for a shortcut substring, e.g. "F11"), or, maybe even better, search all columns (action, shortcut & alternate)
