Version:           1.8 (using KDE 3.4.0, Debian Package 4:3.4.0-0ubuntu3.4 (3.1))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8ubuntu2)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.20050620

It displays them only as an attachment. In order to get it working one needs to copy the email message to a local folder, and then act on it.

Sorry, I have no IMAP account to test with.
Does it still happen with KDE 4.3.1 ?

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
